A delicate 100% Organic, intensely fragrant speciality green tea from the mist-shrouded mountains of northern Fujian, China. Tender silver-tipped tea buds are layered with freshly gathered jasmine blossoms - the production processes of this artisan tea producer have remained virtually unchanged for centuries.
Jasmine flowers typically bloom at night, so buds are picked in the afternoon and layered with tea in the evening just as they open. The blossoms take about four hours to impart their lovely essence, requiring constant monitoring and this whole process is repeated several times before being hand-rolled into elegant pearls.

Infuse for 3-4 minutes in water well below boiling (80°C). Add just a few jasmine dragon pearls per serving plus these can re-infuse for up to 3 times.
According to legend, a Chinese emperor in the Song dynasty (960-1279AD) regularly used several hundred pots of jasmine to perfume the palace grounds. And it was around this time the Chinese began to scent their teas by adding blossoms from jasmine, rose, lotus and lychee.
