We've streamlined our standard range of products (for now) so that we can work more safely and smoothly in our Distribution Centre and continue to bring you some happiness if you are isolating at home.Seán Farrell, CEO and Founder
As a UK food producer and distributor, during the current emergency, we are using principles to guide us:
In our distribution centre, we have taken careful and extreme measures to keep the team safe; which means we can handle approximately half the workload of pre-virus. As a result, we are rationing online orders every day to ensure we continue to do this safely.
We want to ensure you never run out of tea, coffee, jam, honey or chocolate! If your home baking, looking for a little treat, something to cheer you up at this time or would like to order a little something for those you love - we'll do our best to get this to you as quickly and safely as possible.
Our nurses, doctors, paramedics and others are working tirelessly round the clock and harder than ever – we hope to bring you a touch of joy and some relief as we navigate these uncharted waters unitedly. So we're offering 20% off* to NHS staff and emergency workers.
To redeem, please contact us, and you will shortly receive an email with more information on how to claim your discount.
To work safely and ensure you receive your order carefully, we may take a day or two more than usual. While we aim to deliver as soon as possible, during this period - we will make best endeavours to meet the delivery within the timescale indicated at checkout; we cannot issue any refunds due to later delivery during the current circumstances. Once we are through this, we will reinstate our usual delivery promise.
We're working hard with our suppliers to ensure we keep items in stock as much as we can. Unfortunately, however our supply chain is experiencing severe disruptions worldwide at this time; we're not able to restock and produce items as quickly as possible now. However we may possibly only be able to restock again in number of weeks. We do however recommend you order enough to last for the next few weeks, and will keep you updated as soon as we can plan better.
Once your order leaves our distribution centre, one of our trusted business partners will handle its journey to you. Our partners have also introduced their stringent measures to ensure the safety, health and well-being of their employees and customers. When your order arrives, you may find that extra measures taken to ensure parcels are not handed directly to you, and you are not asked to sign for this as usual. Rest assured that your order will be delivered as safely as possible, with risk minimised at every opportunity.
At this time, we are still despatching orders as usual to Europe and the rest of the world. However, we are aware that our delivery partners overseas are experiencing some local delays in specific destinations, namely Italy, Spain, Germany and France. Please allow up to 5 working days extra for your order to arrive.
We will continue to monitor the current situation carefully. Our mission has always been to make people happy through chocolate. For now, let's keep in touch digitally on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. We hope that we can help to lift your spirits during what we know are trying times for us all.
We are here and remain committed to providing help and information to you, as we work through these challenging times together. We are still assisting by Email, Live Chat and Social Media support from our team working remotely.
