Savour the exquisite taste and health benefits of our new purely organic, deliciously sweet, traditional ceremonial Matcha tea powder from Japan. Produced in the spring from only the most delicious young 'tencha' leaves, which are lightly steamed and ground into an extra-fine powder using traditional stone mills.

It's a very labour intensive process, using small batches of freshly picked tea leaves and producing at most 40g of tea powder per hour! Rich in antioxidants, this tea is packed full of health benefits as it contains ten times more nutrients than a regular cup of organic green tea

Made from 100% Organic Japanese Ceremonial Grade Matcha.

Ingredients

100% Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder. Made entirely by hand using a traditional stone-ground process, producing a Japanese ceremonial grade quality tea.

To prepare, we recommend 1.8-2g (1 teaspoon) in freshly boiled water 120ml (80 Degree C.). Mix into a thick froth in a Matcha bowl using a Japanese Chasen bamboo whisk.

Product Details

Stone-milled to order using the customary ‘Mikage’ method ensuring optimal flavour. The vibrant green colour of our Emperors Organic Ceremonial Matcha is evidence of its freshness; retaining the full integrity of the leaves for a deliciously creamy and invigorating tea experience.

In the cup, the shining, emerald green Matcha unfolds intense, matt-green shades, which are crowned by its grass-green, deliciously rich creamy foam. The teas scent is fruity sweet, with an aromatic and full-bodied taste profile.

To ensure your organic green Matcha is as fresh as possible it’s essential to: Keep it in an airtight container (preferably in your special CR tea caddy) and store it in the fridge. While Matcha does have a long shelf life if stored well, like all-natural products, it will deteriorate over time like; so we recommend you enjoy it regularly.
