Jacques Cousteau - Happiness of the Bee & Honey

Jacques Cousteau - Happiness of the Bee & Honey

What more can you say, this is simplicity in perfection and 'just being'...

The happiness of the bee and the dolphin is to exist. For man it is to know that and to wonder at it.

Discover our English Meadows HoneyDirect from our beekeepers in the north of England, with each batch having unique flavour profiles, we wanted to create a range of truly artisan honeys freshly bottled direct from the best beekeepers!

Did you know: almost all commercial Honey is PASTEURISED. While this is known to help protect infants under the age of 6 months, the various heating processes it goes through actually destroys all the honey micro-organisms and nuanced flavours as well as many of the phytochemicals, antioxidants, and nutrients that make honey one healthiest (and oldest) foods in the world.

So unless the honey you buy clearly states that it is RAW and unpasteurised, you may be buying nothing more than sugar. After cooking away the flavour, we are left with nothing but sticky sweetness (just like sugar).

Our English Meadows honey is a lively multi-floral honey from the varied wildflower meadows, gardens and farmlands of the Cheshire countryside in northern England. Produced only in small batches by expert beekeepers on the farm, it is course filtered, NEVER pasteurised and straight from the hive ensures you the most delicious, freshest and nutritious honey - as nature intended - with each batch having unique flavour profiles.

Like all our products our honey is only produced in smaller batches direct from source, so you can be sure it is always the freshest possible honey - literally from the hive to the jar! These are currently available as individual glass jars or in gift sets, online through our website.

PS. Another myth buster: Honey does not ever expire! Stored at room temperature raw honey may naturally crystallise over time, but this is however normal and a sign of a natural pure honey.
