It's Burns Night tonight 25th January (and only 11 months to Christmas if you're counting!) and if you're like most of us, having been on a detox diet this January, today is the perfect occasion to beat the 'January blues' and have a night off to celebrate the birthday of Scotland's most famous poet.

But for those of us who can't directly claim to be Scottish or have any Scottish descendants, we need to know who to thank and raise a toast for this evening - with a single malt whisky and some haggis. This video sums it up perfectly!

Cheers to Robert Burns, Happy Birthday and thank you!

Great video explaining it all, courtesy: YouTube/AboutScotland
